Is IELTS Standing Between You and Where You Need to Go?
There's no secret to passing IELTS.
You need to understand the basic strategies of the test, and then practise every possible topic that might come up.
If you want somebody to guide you through that and give you tailored feedback, I can help you prepare without wasting a single week.

My teacher, Nicholas Panayi, was absolutely wonderful and supportive. He explained everything clearly, was always patient, and genuinely cared about helping his students succeed. His encouragement and guidance made such a big difference in my learning, and I truly believe that I managed to score an 8/9 on the IELTS exam because of him and all the effort he put into helping me. I was incredibly grateful for his hard work, support, and belief in me. He was an amazing teacher, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to improve and achieve their goals!

Does this sound familiar?
You know IELTS is difficult, but nobody has told you how it is really marked.
You have watched a lot of free videos, and you are still guessing.
You have a deadline, and the test is expensive to take twice.
You do not know how many weeks you need, or when you will be ready.
You took IELTS before, and your writing score came back lower than the rest.
How I can support you
01
One-to-one coaching, with examiner-tested strategies
Every lesson is one to one, and we cover all four parts of the test. This is the fastest way to improve if you are starting from a lower level and need to take the exam soon.
02
Your writing and speaking marked the way an examiner marks it
I do not correct your essay like a teacher. I mark it the way it will be marked on exam day, using the same four things the examiner looks at. That way you can see where you are losing points, and why.
03
Grammar and vocabulary worksheets made from your own mistakes
Every student loses points somewhere different. Every time you send me homework, I build new worksheets from the mistakes you actually made, so you practise exactly what you need.
04
A weekly progress tracker for all four parts of the test
You see your progress every week, in every part of the test. That is how you know when you are ready to book the test.

✘ You want somebody to promise you a band score.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
No, and I do not think anybody should. Your result depends on you, how much you study, and a little luck on exam day. What I can tell you is that these strategies come from an examiner with more than twenty years of marking, and that more than 5,000 students have already learned them. If you do the work, it is likely you will get the score you need.
-
Everything I teach, I learned from my mother, an IELTS examiner of more than twenty years. Every strategy reflects how the exam is really marked, and is updated as the exam changes. I mark your writing and speaking the same way.
-
None. All materials and worksheets are included in the weekly price, along with examiner-style marking for writing and speaking. Payment is weekly, in advance.
-
Payments are made weekly, in advance. You can cancel one lesson a week for free if you tell me at least 24 hours before. Lessons cancelled later than that are charged.
-
Yes. A lot of what I teach is online for free, and some students pass with nothing else. If money is tight, that is what I would do. But if you are already paying to sit the exam and you can afford lessons, one-to-one coaching is the most efficient way to fix your gaps and walk into the exam prepared.
If you have read this far, you probably do need IELTS, and you are probably wondering whether it is worth paying for lessons.
What I can tell you honestly is this.
Whatever level my students start from, the ones who learn the basic strategies and practise consistently almost always get the score they need. The strategies are not a secret and the work is not complicated.
So if you need IELTS and you are willing to pay for one-to-one lessons, message me and we will have a chat. If you cannot, tell me anyway and I will point you at the free material.
